Welcome to GrannySmith.com. By purchasing from this website you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions. We therefore recommend that you read the terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase from GrannySmith.com. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Granny Smith orders are delivered by GLS (unless otherwise stated). All orders are sent via parcel post, which makes it possible to track the package. The goods are insured during transit. We recommend that you check the package contents on delivery. If the package and/or its contents are damaged, please report it to GLS immediately. 

DELIVERY TO UNITED KINGDOM

We offer free delivery to UK-based addresses.

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day!
Standard UK delivery takes approximately 2-3 working days.

Timely delivery requires that GLS meets its delivery targets. Delays at GLS could delay the delivery in relation to the desired delivery date. GLS's delivery targets are currently set at a minimum of 99% for parcel delivery. Please note that these are average percentages. Local and temporary variations are possible. Granny Smith cannot be held responsible for delays incurred by GLS. In the event of exceptionally delayed (several days) or long overdue deliveries, Granny Smith will reship the order free of charge.

Please note that deliveries to small islands and very remote areas can extend the delivery time.

OTHER INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

All international deliveries are sent with GLS at the current postage rate.
Standard delivery to non-European countries takes between three and six working days.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Granny Smith operates a 30-day right to return policy; valid from the day you receive your order. All returns must be received by Granny Smith within the valid 30-day right-to-return period.

On receipt of your order, you may use acceptable means to establish the condition and quality of the goods.

If you wish to return some items, please send the goods as a parcel. This will enable you to trace the goods if/when necessary. Remember to keep your receipt as proof of postage. Unstamped or COD returns will not be accepted.

Please make sure that the product is securely packaged. You are responsible for the package/goods until we receive it. Remember to complete and enclose the return form.  If you do not have a return form, please contact us and we will mail one to you.

We will automatically refund the amount to the credit card used when placing the order, and send you confirmation within five working days of receiving the return package.

NOTE:

You can lose your purchase amount, in whole or in part. This will occur if the value of the returned item is affected, because:
- the item has been used. 
- the item has been damaged during the period in which you were responsible for it. 
- you have mishandled the item while determining its condition, characteristics or the way it works.
... In general, you can visually examine the item, in the same manner as you would if you were in a physical shop. If you have examined the item in other ways it will be deemed as used.

If you return a used item, it will be examined to determine if its retail value has been affected. A calculation will be made to determine the difference between the item’s purchase price and its current retail value. Please note that we incur costs when preparing a used item for resale. For example, the creation of a new item number, barcode, any necessary product images, etc. To cover this, a preparation cost equivalent to an hourly rate of GBP 50.00 will be calculated and deducted from the final refund.

RECLAMATIONS

All products carry a 24-month warranty. As a customer, you are entitled to complain about defects that arise during the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover defects that arise from misuse, inappropriate handling, lack of maintenance, or normal wear.
Granny Smith will cover the cost of shipping in connection with a complaint, if the complaint is justified and the shipping costs are reasonable. 

For reclamations or dispatched items that haven't arrived, please contact our Customer Service department: info@grannysmith.com. Always contact us before you return an item, as there may be a different return procedure for that particular product. 

SOLD OUT PRODUCTS

If an item you're interested in is sold out, you have the option to sign up to receive automatic notification when it's back in stock. If you wish to ascertain the estimated delivery time of a product, you are welcome to contact us at info@grannysmith.com

PAYMENT

On Grannysmith.com you can pay with: Visa, Euro/MasterCard and Maestro, American Express and PayPal.
The account information you enter when purchasing goods will be sent directly to your card issuer/bank in encrypted form (SSL), which only you and your card issuer/bank can read. Your personal information will not be seen or stored by a third party. Purchases made with credit card will be debited from your account when the goods leave our warehouse.

All prices include 25% VAT (Danish VAT). 

PRIVACY

Personal information registered with Granny Smith is never transferred, sold or made available to third parties. All information is stored safely and is accessible only to trusted employees of Granny Smith. The account information you enter when purchasing goods will be sent directly to your card issuer/bank in encrypted form (SSL), which only you and your card issuer/bank can read.

During the purchase process you will be asked to enter your name, address, telephone number and email address. This information will only be used for processing your order. The information is encrypted and stored for five years. Granny Smith does not store the purchase contract in a way that enables you to log in and view/change its status.

In addition, we record the IP address of the computer used to make any purchases. This information is normally not used, but could be used in the event of a police investigation. Please note that all fraudulent orders are reported to the police.

You can also (optional) have your email address included on a mailing list in order to receive news and other information from Granny Smith. You can always subscribe and unsubscribe from the mailing list as you wish.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, we will disclose if a request for registered data is made, and in the event of any objections will make deletions to the extent desired.

COOKIES

The shopping system uses cookies to manage the contents of your shopping cart. A cookie is a file that's stored on your Mac/PC. If preferred, you can allow the system to save your address information for your next visit. You can delete this information at any time via browser settings.

VAT AND CUSTOMS

Orders from all EU countries will be subject to Danish VAT, but no duty, in accordance with the rules on free movement of goods. Goods sent from www.grannysmith.com must not be sent as a gift to countries outside the EU, in an attempt to evade local duties and taxes.

Orders from countries outside the EU are not subject to Danish VAT, but may be subject to local taxes and duties. Granny Smith cannot be held responsible for these charges. In such an instance you will be contacted by the shipping company. Please note that delivery can be delayed when goods are withheld by customs. It is your responsibility to contact the shipping company and to pay any additional costs imposed by customs.

LEGAL ISSUES

The purchasing of goods on Grannysmith.com is subject to Danish law. Any legal disputes that arise will be settled in the Danish courts.
